 Desert Botanical Garden

The Desert Botanical Garden is there to debunk the myth that there is little or no green in the desert. It’s a 140-acre botanical garden with more than 50 thousand plants.

Is open throughout the year and Is a National Historic Landmark  built as a winter home by architect FrankLloyd Wright. It is also the home of the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture.

Heard and Pueblo Grande Museums

There is a strong Native American influence in Phoenix so this is a great museum to go to in order to learn more about the area. The Heard is the oldest private museum in Arizona and is a landmark having been founded in 1929

Also discover the Pueblo Grande museum where the Hohokam people were an impressive, resourceful people who thrived in the Sonoran Desert. The remnants of their life here are now surrounded by a major metropolitan city. Come visit the museum and see what life would have been like here in Phoenix 1000 years ago!...

All over the Valley of the Sun big leages come to prepare for Baseball season. Just a brisk walk to Scottsdale Stadium you can see the Giants.  Other teams playing are the Oakland A's, the Dodgers and so many more.  If you love baseballl.  This is the place to be in spring.

Go Golfing

There are 26 golf courses in Phoenix, Arizona and 6 are municipal courses. There are also another 74 golf courses within 20 miles of Phoenix, including 57 public, 5 municipal, 3 PL and 9 private courses. 

Major Sporting Events

Greater Phoenix hosts major sporting events every year, including college football's Fiesta Bowl and Cactus Bowl; the PGA Tour’s highest-attended event, the Waste Management Phoenix Open; NASCAR events each spring and fall; and Cactus League Spring Training, where fans can see the biggest names in the MLB up close as 15 teams train and play.
